Not a good pollinizer for the later-flowering fuzzy kiwis.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMale hardy kiwis will usually take 3-5 years to mature to flowering age, and can stretch up to 40' long. Plant in fertile, well-drained soils and full-to-part sun; hardy kiwis prefer a little afternoon shade in hotter regions. Male plants will flower, but do not set fruit.
